The Not Not Fun label continues at cruising speed, its musical acts patiently derezzing Tron-style. As Sand Circles, Swedish helmsman Martin Herterich cultivates a bygone aesthetic, layering his synths like blankets of fog and transferring the admixture to cassette. His second album Motor City is an idealized soundtrack for those slow-burning night jaunts, bending corners with the likes of Chromatics and Valerie label head College.
