Semi-regular updates to return soon. Been working on a year-end 2011 feature since November but it’s slow going. In the meantime, check out Air’s new soundtrack to Georges Méliès’ classic Le Voyage Dans la Lune. It’s their most organic-sounding record since their soundtrack to the Virgin Suicides—lots of strings and timpani, guitar, and analog synths. A little too much with the robotic voice samples but yeah it’s a soundtrack.
